The Christmas Novena below traditionally begins on November 30, the Feast Day of St. Andrew, the first apostle. The novena prayer is prayed until Christmas Eve. While it is suggested that you recite the prayer 15 times each day, the person who passed it on said whenever you think of it, recite it, “God cares about quality of prayer, not quantity.”

Hail, and blessed be the hour and moment at which the Son of God was born of the most pure Virgin, Mary, in a stable at midnight in Bethlehem in the piercing cold. At that hour vouchsafe, I beseech Thee, to hear my prayers and grant my desires.
