Winter Star Testing
Next week students in grades 1st-8th will be taking the winter Star testing. The Star test is given three times a year to see the students' progression in both math and reading. After the spring test a parent report will be sent home. Below are a few helpful tips to get them ready for the test...
Getting Ready…
- Get plenty of sleep the night before the test. Children who are tired are less able to pay attention in class or to handle the demands of a test.
- Eat a healthy breakfast. This will give your brain the energy it needs to do your very best.
- Come to school on time and with the tools that you need.
- Have a positive attitude.
Middle School Dance
The Crest Pier has invited WCA students in grades 5-8th to attend their middle school dance this Saturday, January 7, 2023 from 7 - 9:30. Admission is $5. They will also be hosting a dance on Saturday, January 21st- mark your calendars.
