As we approach the holiday season, I wanted to take a moment to update you on some exciting events and initiatives happening at our school. Firstly, I want to express my gratitude for the generosity and giving spirit that has been demonstrated by our community. Your contributions to Supper with Santa, Lazarus House, and Dine Out events have made a significant impact on our community.
The Lower School will be hosting a Christmas concert on Tuesday, December 19, where our talented young musicians will showcase their skills and spread the holiday cheer.
As we move into the new year, I wanted to remind everyone of our upcoming days off. Our school will be closed on December 23 through January 1. School will resume on January 2, 2024.
Lastly, I wanted to remind everyone about our Hall of Fame nominations. This is an opportunity to recognize and celebrate the achievements of our alumni. If you know someone who deserves to be recognized, please submit your nomination by January 31.
As a reminder school will be closed Friday, December 8, and the scholarship application deadline is Sunday, December 31. You can find scholarship details here.
Don't forget to check out the winter sports schedule online. Our basketball teams will be competing this Friday night in the Scoop Taylor Tournament. Varsity Boys play at 5:10pm, JV Boys 6:20pm and Varsity Girls at 8:25pm at the Crest Pier Recreation Center.
