A Message from the Administration

Dear Families & Friends,

Catholic Schools Week has provided an extra layer of important education throughout the week at Wildwood Catholic Academy. We started off on Sunday at St. Ann Church, then invited the community and parents in on Monday for Career Day. It was fun to see the Lower School students dressed in their future careers, and to hear from people in the field about various occupations.

One of our biggest and busiest days was celebrating our Nation. The entire school packed the gym stands to create a human flag, and Lower School students delivered baskets of thanks to first responders. We could never thank them enough for all that they do. We are especially thankful for our ongoing relationship with the police department.

Looking ahead, Ash Wednesday is February 14, the school will be closed on February 19 for Presidents Day, and the third grade will present Famous American Speeches on February 23 at 1pm.

In the Classroom: During Catholic Schools Week we dedicated each day to recognizing important aspects of our lives, such as Parish, Community, Students, Nation, Vocations, and Volunteers. This week offered opportunities to strengthen our faith in all of these areas.

Sports: The girls' basketball team will celebrate their senior athletes tonight when they play Holy Spirit. The JV team plays at 4:30pm and Varsity plays at 6pm. Recognition of our seniors begins before the Varsity game. Come out and cheer the team on!

Thank you for caring about the Wildwood Catholic Academy community!
