From the Administration

Dear Families & Friends,

This week brought us ups and downs, and everything in between. We started off the week celebrating Read Across America in our Lower School with fun STEM projects. The projects had the students work together and individually to create something from what started out looking like nothing. Then the girls and boys basketball teams took to the court in the NSIAA playoffs. Unfortunately, both teams lost their games, however, every player, coach, and parent should be proud of the season and the accomplishments from the past few months. We are proud of the good sportsmanship, fairness, and hard work that our athletes exhibited throughout the winter season. "Winning and losing isn't everything; sometimes, the journey is just as important as the outcome." ~Alex Morgan

First Grade: Take a look at a few of the STEM projects that first grade did this week, a few photos are below.

Theatre: Our students are working hard to prepare for their musical in March. Remember to get your tickets to the best show in town!

Spring Fling: The Spring Fling Committee meeting on March 6.

Sports: We have a lot to be proud of this week! First, congratulations to Destiny Wallace for signing her intent with Georgian Court University. Second, we want to applaud Kaci Mikulski for reaching another milestone in basketball by scoring her 200th 3-pointer.

75th Anniversary: To commemorate 75 years we kicked off a campaign to raise $75,000 in 75 Days. The funds raised during this campaign go to the Annual Appeal, which helps to fund academic programs, competitive athletics, and extracurricular activities. You can donate three ways: 1. Online 2. Text WCA75 to 53-555 3. Check made out to Wildwood Catholic Academy and note in the memo "75 in 75." Your unwavering support is why WCA is still here.

As a reminder, Friday, March 1 is an early dismissal.

Thank you for your support!

why i love wca
"The students and families are a pleasure to work with and it makes my job so enjoyable because I have their support. As the guidance counselor, every year I am super proud of all the students' accomplishments when they are ready to graduate and begin the next chapter of their lives, whether college, the work force or the military."
