Wildwood Catholic Academy graduate Martin Anguelov set a new single-game scoring record for Stockton University in a win over TCNJ.
Anguelov, who helped WCA to a South Jersey title in 2020, shot 17 for 27 from the floor (63 percent), including 6 for 11 from three-point range, and also sank 5 of 6 free throws in the contest. He also added four rebounds, two assists, and two steals while playing a game-high 37 minutes.
Anguelov is averaging a team-best 21.3 points and 4.3 rebounds per outing through six games. He also leads the team in three-point baskets with 16 and is shooting 89.3 percent from the foul line, making 25 of 28 attempts.
