Today is the Feast Day of Saints Jacinta and Francisco Marto; two of the three children who received apparitions of Our Lady of Fatima. She asked the children to pray the rosary every day “to obtain peace for the world and the end of the war.” Both children died of influenza within two years of the last apparition of Our Lady. They were canonized by Pope Francis on the 100th anniversary of the first apparition. Saints Jacinta and Francisco pray for us. Our Lady of the Rosary, protect us. |
