St. Joseph's Day at Lazarus House |
From Lazarus House: St. Joseph's Day was even more special at Lazarus House due to J'lynn and Ava from Wildwood Catholic Academy joining our volunteers serving our guests. We are always so delighted to have these students work with us. It always amazes us how they fit in and are willing to do any task they are assigned. Thank you. |
Students Make Sandwiches for Beacon of Hope Shelter in Atlantic City |
During Mrs. McCann’s Religion classes the students worked together to make turkey and cheese sandwiches for the Beacon of Hope Shelter in Atlantic City. The students had a goal of 100, and instead made 107! Once the sandwiches were made, they were bagged with a snack and water bottle. The bags were picked up by the director. It was a fun and meaningful day of service for everyone.
