Message from Father Mazz
Dear Friends and Supporters of Wildwood Catholic Academy,
I am very excited to begin my pastorate at Notre Dame de La Mer Parish, which includes the vital ministry of Catholic education at Wildwood Catholic Academy. I was so pleased to be assigned again to a parish with a catholic school. I will do all in my power to continue the great work that this school and her predecessor schools began in the Cape May County community in 1887.
Catholic school education is an essential ministry of the church. It is needed as much or perhaps more than in times past. The message that our culture sometimes gives to our young people is not always rooted in Gospel values. Parents depend on the Catholic school to extend and deepen the Catholic values found in the home.
The support that you, our families, friends and benefactors give allows the school to be sustained, to grow and flourish. Contributions of time, talent and treasure are everyone’s responsibility. I ask that you continue to support this fine school so that the gift of a Catholic education might continue for years to come.
As the pastor of this school, I commit it and all of you to my prayers. I ask for your prayers for me in this assignment. I look forward to working with you and getting to know you and your families better in the coming month.
Sincerely In Christ,
Rev. Cadmus Mazzarella
